English Freemasonry Charity Work Newsletter

CALL TO CHARITY

On the last 15th of August we received in the District W.Bro Tony Harvey, PAGDC, for a virtual presentation of the lecture “Seven Habits of Highly Successful Lodges”. Bro. Tony is a great supporter of charitable activities in his Province and uses his lectures to promote donations to the social institutions he supports. And here, even far away, it will not be different from that!

Thus, in an unprecedented initiative, the Orders of English Masonry in Brazil came together to consolidate a single Charity project in our District, inviting all brethren to extend help to social projects, in return for the dedication and knowledge we received.

A total commitment of all Orders is expected, uniting all of us in a single purpose, with energy focused on the practice of Charity by supporting projects that impact our local communities. This will be the first of many others to come!

HOW TO SUPPORT

You can contribute to the Charity Program from your Lodge, Chapter, Preceptory, or Council, or donate directly to the District Charity Fund.

The masonic units must inform about the projects supported by their Order’s Rulers. The projects will be announced in the next edition.

A NEW EDITION

It is with great pleasure that we present a new edition of the Charity News, which is back in the tradition of an important outreach work of the English Freemasonry charities in Brazil and abroad.

A new team has been joined to continue this information and dissemination work, but for this effort to becomes a success, it is very important the participation of all Masonic Units in the District.

You can help sending photos, videos, or texts informing the charities that your Masonic unit has done. We will promote all initiatives to serve as inspiration for all of us.

Materials and information can be sent directly by email. Your charity work may be the next big thing in Charity News. Join us!
